2018: YEAR IN REVIEW
Looking back on 2018, we have much to be proud of. Although we encountered some rocky patches along the road, we overcame these challenges by pulling together as a community and as a team. At the end of the day, we have much to celebrate: a new website, a new charitable initiative, some big anniversaries, new faces, and of course, another safe year on the road.

Our website underwent a transformation in 2018. We designed our new site to showcase our core values of safety, family and community. Read more about the story behind the transformation.
A Safety Message from Tim Johnson, Director Health Safety & Environment
“Safety is and will always be our number one priority at Northwest. We start every new year by taking an exhaustive look through our policies and reviewing them based on the latest updates in the industry and as a company. This internal audit is part of our commitment to continuous improvement and helps us put together a plan for the year to come.
Looking ahead to safety in 2019, we will be undergoing a Responsible Care audit in June which entails a review of our entire safety management program — everything from hiring drivers to training programs to equipment security. Three independent auditors will come in and go through all our procedures and make recommendations to help us achieve the highest level of trucking safety.
We look forward to another year of safely doing business on the road!”
Congratulations to everyone who achieved significant milestones with Northwest in 2018! Your contributions are what allow us to keep on trucking.
